The glorious history traces back to 1972 when Shri Kailash Chandra Khandelwal laid its foundation in the name of
Continental Pharmaceuticals.

The group’s strength was further bolstered by Mr. Naveen Khandelwal & Mr. Amit Khandelwal who joined in the
year 1993 & 1997 respectively.

In 1995, a Pvt. Ltd. company – Elcon drugs & Formulations P. Ltd.  was incorporated which was later on converted into Public Ltd. Company. At the same time the group bought land to set up an ultra modern cGMP pharmaceutical unit.

In 1999, SCORTIS LABS (P) LTD. was incorporated when Mr. Vinod Khandelwal joined the group and at the same time civil construction of approx. 25,000 Sq.ft. started at Elcon with an objective to set up State-of the Manufacturing facilities for Tablets, Capsules & Liquid Orals (Ayurvedic & Allopathic)

Driven by the passion to bring quality healthcare within every citizen’s reach, the group has since had an eventful expansion period
2001	Production started and awarded GMP certificate from FDA department, Rajasthan Jaipur
2002	Plant approved by Cipla Ltd. to manufacture their Generic & Anti Aids products on Contract manufacturing.
2004	Delegates from Russian Health Ministry visited the Elcon plant on 6th October, 2004 and approved the plant for registration & exports of its products in Russia.
2005	Sitrocs Zenetica (India) P.Ltd. – The other marketing division was launched with different & exclusive product range to cater to the franchisee market in India.
2007	SCORTIS PTE LTD., SCORTIS, Inc & SCORTIS PVT.LTD.  Companies incorporated in SINGAPORE, U.S & U.K.  Respectively for marketing of Health Supplement Products under the brand name of “SCORTIS HEALTHCARE” through chain of retail outlets
